The Aquinity² is fed directly from municipal or potable tap water, whereas the Astacus² needs deionised water. Both systems ensure a high level of convenience at low operating costs.
Aquinity² systems are equipped with a reverse osmosis (RO) and/or an optional electro-deionisation (EDI) cell to produce deionised water. The systems feature 10L, 35L or 70L storage reservoirs which are filled at a production rate of 10L/hr.

Bench top
Our systems are delivered in the standard configuration as bench top systems. The systems are placed directly on the workstation. The display is integrated into the system and the flexible and removable dispenser is attached directly to the system.
Water Purification Systems like Astacus² and Aquinity² P10 are set up like this (1). Systems like AquaRO², EDI², Aquinity² P35/70 and Aquinty² E35/70 which need an external tank for water production can be set up like this. The customer can choose if he would like to set the external reservoir next to the unit or under the bench (2).
To save valuable benchtop space the system can be ordered as BI configuration. The system will be installed underneath the work bench and only the display and dispenser are mounted on the wall.

The Aquinity² P10 ultrapure water system is equipped with a reverse osmosis (RO) cell to produce deionised water directly into an integrated 10L tank.
Aquinity² models produce ultrapure water directly from municipal or potable tap water. In the next step Type I grade water is produced with a polisher cartridge.
The Aquinity² P10 model is ideal for laboratories with a limited daily need for ultrapure water.

Aquinity² P35/P70 versions have an independent tank from which RO water can be tapped (e.g. for glassware cleaning).
The water quality from this tank depends on the feed water quality; in general the RO holds back 98% of all ions. The tank can be installed at the side or above the system or even underneath the bench.
Tapping of ultrapure water is done with our flexible but also lockable dispenser as incorporated in all membraPure ultrapure water systems. Built-in TOC monitoring is also available with the Aquinity² P35/P70 versions.
Aquinity² P35/P70 is the perfect system for a medium-sized lab.

Aquinity² E35/E70 ultrapure water systems contain an electro deionization (EDI) cell to produce Type II water with a production rate of 10 L/hr.
The systems are equipped with 35 L or 70 L storage reservoirs. The water can be dispensed directly from the reservoir. In Aquinity² E35/E70 models the water from the reservoir has a very high quality of <0.1 μS/cm and can therefore be used for less sensitive applications.
Also this high water quality prevents the polisher cartridge to be exhausted quickly. So for all labs which use more than 100L/day the Aquinity² E35/E70 is also an economical and ecological (less waste) wise decision.

The new automatic memTap allows the volumetric controlled tapping of water with a dispenser arm. The arm can be moved horizontally and vertically. Preset of tap-volume is in 0.1 L steps.
